為迎接高速發展的全球數位健康產業 (Digital Health)，並幫助台灣生醫新創公司掌握未來、推動創新成長，財團法人生物技術開發中心 (Development Center for Biotechnology, DCB) 正式啟動台灣首創專注於生技醫藥的跨領域加速器計畫「鳳凰計畫-數位健康國際加速器訓練營」。此計畫將邀請多位國際知名大師從品牌推動、財務規劃、行銷策略、及專利法規等多面向進行深入探討，期待能協助新創公司團隊實現創業夢想。
2018 的鳳凰計畫-數位健康國際加速器，是第一屆由台灣所舉辦的加速器。本屆約有60個團隊得以進入加速器的第一階段 (Startup Bootcamp)，爾後可持續參加為期3天的訓練課程。經過競爭評比後，有26個團隊進入了第二階段 (Phase II)。第二階段獲選的團隊將進一步接受扎實且多元化的一個月訓練 (Business Plan Crach Course)，再由 Pitch Event 汰選，留下最終15個團隊，進入第三階段 (Phase III, Mass Challenge)。於第三階段中，加速器安排了多位國內外業師，給予團隊全方位的課程及諮詢，最後於2018/09/28 於台北國際會議中心舉辦了Final Pitch，讓各團隊來角逐跟國際創投資金對接，以及進軍亞太甚至是全球市場的機會。

In order to meet the fast-growing global digital health industry and promote Taiwan biomedical startups growth, the Development Center for Biotechnology (DCB) launched Taiwan's first digital health accelerator, the Phoenix Project, focus on biotechnology and medicine. This project invites a number of international renowned masters to lead in-depth discussions on brand promotion, financial planning, marketing strategies, patent regulations, and assisting the startup teams to realize their entrepreneurial dreams.
The 2018 Phoenix Project - Digital Health International Accelerator is the first accelerator to be held in Taiwan. About 60 teams entered the first phase of the accelerator (Startup Bootcamp) and continue to participate in a three-day training course. The 26 teams were selected in phase II would further accept a solid and diversified Business Plan Crash Course, which left the final 15 teams to enter the third phase (Phase III, Mass Challenge) by Pitch Event. In Mass Challenge, the accelerator arranged a number of international mentors and coaches, gave the teams a full range of courses and consultations. Finally, the Final Pitch was held at Taipei International Convention Center (TICC) on 2018/09/28, allowing the teams to compete for the chance to get the recommendation to the international venture capital directly and the opportunities to enter the Asia Pacific or even the global market.
